UltraCal Technologies LLP is an independent calibration laboratory established in 2017, built to give India's manufacturing, pharmaceutical, engineering and quality-assurance teams calibration results they can rely on. Our technicians work to ISO/IEC 17025 methodology under NABL accreditation, across dimensional, mass & volume, mechanical, electro-technical and thermal disciplines — calibrating in-house at our Pattegarapalya facility, or on-site at your premises anywhere in India.

When an instrument or parameter falls outside our direct scope, we coordinate calibration through our network of associated accredited laboratories — so you deal with one point of contact instead of chasing multiple vendors for a single audit or ISO renewal.

What is NABL accreditation, and why does it matter?

NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) assesses calibration labs against the ISO/IEC 17025 standard for technical competence and measurement traceability. Choosing an NABL-accredited lab means your calibration certificates are more likely to be accepted in ISO audits, customer inspections and regulatory reviews. UltraCal holds NABL accreditation, which you can verify on the NABL India website.

Which parameters does UltraCal calibrate?

We calibrate across five disciplines: Dimensional (calipers, micrometers, gauges), Mass & Volume (weighing scales, weights, micropipettes), Mechanical (pressure gauges, torque wrenches, force gauges), Electro-Technical (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power sources) and Thermal (thermocouples, RTDs, chambers) — plus thermal mapping for storage and process environments.

Do you offer on-site calibration in India, or only in-lab?

Both. Instruments can be sent to or collected from our Pattegarapalya facility, or our technicians can calibrate on-site at your premises anywhere in India to minimise downtime.

What's the difference between calibration and verification?

Verification simply confirms an instrument still performs within expected tolerance. Calibration goes further: it compares the instrument against a traceable reference standard and records the actual deviation on a certificate with stated measurement uncertainty. Most ISO systems and customer audits require calibration, not just verification.

How often should a weighing scale be calibrated?

Weighing scales used for trade, quality control or lab work are typically recalibrated every 6 to 12 months, though high-precision analytical balances or heavily used scales may need it more often. Your QMS or the manufacturer's manual has the final word — we can help you set a schedule.

What's the difference between ISO 17025 and NABL accreditation?

ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard defining competence requirements for testing and calibration laboratories. NABL is the Indian accreditation body that audits laboratories against that exact standard and issues accreditation. In short: ISO 17025 is the standard, NABL is who certifies a lab meets it in India.

What if my instrument's parameter is outside UltraCal's direct scope?

We coordinate calibration through our network of associated accredited laboratories, so you get a single point of contact instead of managing multiple vendors across one audit cycle.
